Vail Real Estate Vail Village and Lionshead Unit Sales History and Analysis

Through November 1 of this year, there have been 67 sales in Vail Village and Lionshead.   With 14 under contract, unit sales should end up slightly below the 2012 level.  The graph below shows unit sales for Vail Village and Lionshead by year for the past few years.  The trend lines are somewhat similar to what has occurred in Eagle County for the same period of time, with a few points of distinction.  Yes, 2009 is the low point with only 39 sales all year, but perhaps for a different reason than just a poor economy.  2008 saw the closings of several new projects
